The top 10 American Idol contestants from season seven will set out on a U.S. singing tour this summer.
Hitting the road for the 11 week concert series will be David Archuleta, David Cook, Syesha Mercado, Brooke White, Carly Smithson, Chikezie Eze, Jason Castro, Kristy Lee Cook, Michael Johns and Ramiele Malubay. The tour kicks off July 1, 2008 and runs through September 13, 2008.
The final two nights for season 7 will be Tuesday Night, May 20, for 17-year-old teen prodigy David Archuleta and 25-year-old David Cook in a head-to-head competition. Let's hope it will be energetic and the two contestants give it their all. And... may the best man win!
It should be noted that the most successful past idol contestants are: Season 4 winner Carrie Underwood, Season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson, Season 2 winner Fantasia, Chris Daughtry, Kellie Pickler, Jennifer Hudson, and Clay Aiken.
