BIG BROWN Wins the 134th Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs.

Big Brown was the favorite to win with the latest odds at 5-2. And win he did! It's only the fourth race in his career. Big Brown becomes the 7th unbeaten Kentucky Derby Winner and he is the 4th horse now that was Favored to Win and actually won. Big Brown, trained by Rick Dutrow, gave jockey Kent Desormeaux his 3rd Kentucky Derby win.

That was an exciting 2-minute race to watch Live on TV! I enjoyed every second of it. However, there was a tragedy on the track after the race. Second place finisher, filly Eight Belles was euthanized after breaking both front ankles. Of course, that was a great horse that has brought joy to her owner, trainer, and sports enthusiasts.

Here is a video clip of Big Brown's Fantastic Finish. Enjoy!

It was, most certainly, a day of both triumph and tragedy.
