Houston Skimpy Prom Dress | Prom Dress Cuffs

We all know some teenagers love to rebel, but this seventeen-year-old in Houston, Texas might have gone a little too far with her rebellion by arriving at her senior prom in this skimpy prom dress. A Prom Sponsor/school official stopped Marche Taylor before she entered the ballroom at the Sugarland Marriott. There was a lot of arguing back and forth and someone called the police.

The Houston Police promptly handcuffed the teen and escorted her home. Of course, she is complaining and remaining clueless.

Here is the news video clip uploaded to YouTube. I agree with the school officials. The dress appeared inappropriate for a senior prom, to me. What do you think about her dress?

Yes. I do feel the dress is inappropriate for a school prom. I certainly wouldn't want to see my daughter dressed like that.
That being said though. What kind of BS is this? Why did they have to arrest her or handcuff her?
What kind of message are WE being sent? Is this REALLY a police state?
It seems that all we have to do to get shot or arrested is to just simply......breathe!

The sad thing is.....her parents may not have cared. Truth be told I would never let my daughter wear a dress like this. She looks like a hooker. Shame on her parents. They did not need to arrest her, just send her home with some clothes on.

There are plenty of young women in the world not much older than Miss Taylor getting paid huge salaries to wear just as little coverage. I think her school might have grounds based on their "published" dress code, which these days must get technical to stand up in court, but the REAL POINT should be about judging people based on who they are NOT what they wear! Isn't that the message both our schools and our churches are always trying to teach people? What a double-standard in behavior.
