During the June 6th Edition of FOX News' America's Pulse, host E.D. Hill gave this tease before going to commercial:
A fist bump? A pound? A terrorist fist jab? The gesture everyone seems to interpret differently.
After the commercial E.D. Hill had a body language expert, as guest, to discuss the body language of Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama and his wife Michelle [See the Video Clip below].
The following week, E.D. Hill apologized for her comments [See 2nd Video Clip below]. And just recently, FOX News has removed E.D. Hill from the America's Pulse program. Will she be fired? No one knows for sure. But the word out right now is that she is staying with the network in "a capacity to be determined."
Hill has been with the FOX News Network since 1998. She co-anchored Fox & Friends for several years before moving to the 11 a.m. (ET) hour, followed by anchoring her new show, America's Pulse.
If you have been looking for the video of the show on June 6, here it is below. I guess FOX was trying to make sure they keep their TV ratings up with the "Terrorist Fist Jab" comment. I interpreted the 'fist jab' as nothing more than an affectionate "bump" between a married couple. I didn't read anything demonic as a "terroristic" message into it. What do you think?
Here is a video clip of E.D. Hill's apology. I think she should keep her job and return to TV reporting. After all... this is FOX News Network. She probably won't make those type of comments again, or will she?

Well, just more proof that nobody is allowed to say anything that could remotely be construed as derogatory about Sen Obama, his wife, his religion, his friends, (rev wright), his policies,....etc..... I guess Rush is right,..he is the messiah.....

She should be fired! Her comments were socially and professionally irresponsible. I'm tired of these conservative idiots putting their entire foot in their mouths and getting away with it. it's sickening and it's getting really old and tired.

We LOVE ED. We will not watch Fox anymore till they put her back on the air. We want her back on Fox & Friends. Get rid of Brian, the troublemaker and Gretchen, who looks loke their mother.

ED Hill said nothing wrong. She was just reporting what others had said. Is Fox News becoming just like the other networks. If ED Hill is fired I will not watch your network any longer
I think its silly. Can't anyone say anything about Obama? If she said the same thing about McCain nobody would have said anything.
E.D.,Still miss you not being on Fox and Friends. You are so real and a breath of fresh air. If they let you go, so will I. I found Karyn on CNN and since it is the person not the channel I am loyal to, I will say bye to FOX and hello to were ever you end up.
I love E.D. Hill. She's harmless, but more imortantly she's beautiful. I'd watch her read from the telephone book for an hour a day.
That was very stupid to fire someone over that remark. Many other things have been said on the screen and people have not been fired. I can't believe you would fire ED and Bill is still reporting with his mouth wide open all the time. This is a very minute thing to be fired over. She probably needs her job just like I do and the other reporters that are saying ridiculous things NEED TO GO.
I have been needing a reason to turn my channel to something other than Fox News during the day. This is ridiculous. Is Obama's skin that thin, also?

I've been a fan of ED Hill for a long time, but the comment was definitely in poor taste. Still, I don't think that she should lose her job for what she said. Your "street thug" comment illustrates how very far we have to go in this country to liberate minds like yours from eternal ignorance...
I have watched fox since 1998 when E.D.Hill first appeared.Since she is no longer on fox neither is my TV. I have switched to CNN like Kiran Chetry.What ever station E.D.Hill shows up on I will watch.
Just so you know....E.D. Hill is a Liberal Democrat.

Nobody can question the Obama Messiah campaign, it seems, unless being deemed a racist. Personally, Hill grew old quick with me so I won't miss her. I found her to be unknowledgeable and slow. If FOX could get rid of that Van Susteran woman I might watch them in that slot too. Greta needs to go back to lawyering.

E.D. Hill was a terrific anchor and she will be sorely missed. Gretchen Carlson can not shine E.D.'s shoes nor can anyone else. I hope that E.D. ends up at CNN or another competitor just like Kiran Chetry did when she was fired terribly wrong. E.D. - you are loved and you are a classy lady.

This PC atmosphere that we live in today is so lopsided and tiresome. The media can say anything they like derogatory about President Bush or Governor Palen or other conservatives, but tread on any liberal toes and you get taken to the wood shed or demoted or fired! Guess you can't say that FXN is the answer to CNN, MSNBC and the like any longer. Where it turn is the question!
