Christian Bale asks for privacy and seems to be at a loss for words in the video clip below. He was released on bail following assault allegations made by his mother, Jenny, and sister, Sharon.
Bale denied the charges, but was questioned for 4 hours at a London Police Station and was required to supply his fingerprints, DNA saliva sample, and a "mug" shot. He must report back to police in September.
The altercation reportedly took place last Sunday, July 20. It is believed that Jenny, 61, claims she was pushed over during the argument.
Here is a quote from his mother, reported yesterday:
Yes, there was a family situation, but the police are handling it and I cannot say any more at the moment. We did not call the police to the scene. I can't say any more but we didn't call the police.
