Now everybody knows that John Edwards cheated on his wife with Rielle Hunter. John Edwards admitted Friday that Rielle Hunter was his mistress back in 2006. He said that he might have had sex with her, but he did not love her and he does not think he is the father of her baby. This admission had to be a great boost for the National Enquirer tabloid magazine's credibility. They broke the story months ago and actually cornered John Edwards in the wee hours of the morning at a hotel in California a few days ago.
Hunter once worked for the Edwards campaign and received a big income and that has some making all sorts of accusations of payoffs. There is also a baby involved as Reille Hunter has a very young daughter. The baby has been described as the "John Edwards love child" in the National Enquirer. That weekly magazine broke the story and they were a lone voice chiming on the story for many weeks. They had a wild altercation in the middle of the night at the Beverly Hills Hotel where reporters from the magazine cornered Edwards.~national ledger
