Gina Carano was victorious again on October 4, 2008. Her latest Elite XC - MMA fight took place at the Bank Atlantic Center, Sunrise, Florida. Carano biggest challenge was weighing in at 140 pounds for her weight class. She weighed in at that weight or maybe a little over at 141 pounds. In her last fight Carano couldn't get that low. She was a few pounds over when she fought Kaitlin. However, Gina Carano's opponent agreed to fight.
Carano might have to fight in a different weight class in the future, according to some experts in the field, due to the stress on her physical health.
