A little Independent Film called "Paranormal Activity" is a Box Office Hit. Remember "The Blair Witch Project?" Well, this film surpassed that one, largely in part to 8,000 Twitter followers and 125,000 Facebook fans. Now, that's the power of Social Media!

First-time director Oren Peli spent just $15,000 making the film, which has so far grossed more than $65 million in the US and Canada.

Okay, I understand the power of social media, but how in the world did he get that fantastic, astronomical, 4,333% return on his investment? There has to be another element in here. It boggles the mind!

I guess it's all true. Boy, am I envious!

One thing is for sure. This director connected with his audience. The people responded. I will check out this movie, asap.
