Avatar grossed $75 million and Sherlock wasn't too shabby at more than $65 million.
Studios have named this the biggest Christmas holiday box office ever, with revenues showing 37% over last year, a record breaking $264 million overall. James Cameron’s Avatar has grossed $212.3 million since opening.
I watched Avatar over the Holiday and I was impressed! This was one of the best action movies I have seen in a long time.
