Teenager Found Alive | Yemenia Airlines Crash | Indian Ocean

Yemenia Airliner/AFPThese jet crashes, reported lately, are causing so much pain and anxiety among family members. A passenger jet, Yemeni Flight 626, crashed this morning in the Indian Ocean. Rescuers found several bodies floating in the ocean and miraculously found a teenager alive, a 14-year-old girl! Earlier in the day it was reported that the survivor was a toddler. That report was incorrect.

Airline officials have already reported that there were faults found with this jet in 2007. I could not find a report stating that mechanical corrections were made 2 years ago. This is such a horrendous crash, once again. My condolences go out to the families of all victims in this accident.

SAN'A, Yemen — A passenger jet from Yemen with 153 people on board crashed in the Indian Ocean early Tuesday as it tried to land during heavy wind on the island nation of Comoros, a Yemeni aviation official said.

A Comoros police official said one toddler has been rescued alive from the sea. Bodies were spotted floating in the ocean and the police official said three had been recovered so far.

Yemeni civil aviation deputy chief Mohammed Abdul Qader said there were 142 passengers and a crew of 11 Yemenis on board when the plane, which had set off from the Yemeni capital of San'a, went down before landing in Moroni, on the main island of Grand Comore.~source

Dallas Car Chase Video

It seems like we are able to view at least one car chase a month on TV. And, of course, we can enjoy the exciting news as many times as we like with internet video replay. This is not a joking matter. Innocent bystanders and other drivers can be hurt or killed due to some crazed person on the interstate.

The driver in yesterday's car chase provided plenty of drama at high speed and crashes. He was stopped by colliding into a pickup truck.

DALLAS — A high-speed chase through the Dallas area ended when a car being pursued by authorities ran a red light and collided with a pickup truck.

Television reports identified the suspect as 29-year-old Shane Michel. Baylor University Medical Center spokeswoman Maria Carpenter said he was in critical condition late Monday afternoon.

Television reports say the chase lasted about 90 minutes after starting in the Dallas suburb of Mesquite.

Dallas County constable assistant dispatcher Curtis Hettich said the chase began as a routine traffic stop. Constable Michael Gothard said the suspect was wanted on a felony warrant.

Bernie Madoff Sentenced 150 Years | Ponzi Scheme

Bernie Madoff, the Ponzi King, was sentenced to 150 years in prison today in a Manhattan courtroom. Judge Denny Chin had this to say:

...the sentence was a symbolic one for a crime that showed extraordinary evil and took a staggering human toll.

Bernie Madoff addressed the court for about 6-minutes saying that when he started the scam he thought he would be able to work his way out of the mess. He said he lives in a tormented state and expressed regret of leaving a 'legacy of shame' to his children and grandchildren:

How do you excuse lying to brother and sons? How do you excuse lying and deceiving a wife who stood by you for 50 years and still stands by you? There is no excuse for that and I don't ask for forgiveness.~Bernie Madoff

He then faced his victims in court and said, I'm sorry.

What more can you say? Finally, the investors get justice. This is a tragic case. I hope everyone will get at least a portion of their money back from this creep. This is the ultimate deception. Check out the video news report, below:

Skank Robbers | BET Awards | Video

Last night, Sunday, June 28 2009, The BET Awards show paid tribute to the late Michael Jackson. I viewed most of the show, and even though the Tribute to Jackson was put together hastily, due to his sudden death, I found it a joy to watch.

Jamie Foxx definitely took control and did a fantastic job as host. Don Cornelius spoke too long in introducing the O'Jays before they stepped on stage and accepted their Lifetime Achievement Award. But, the founder and host of "Soul Train" deserved his time in the spotlight once again after many years of taking leave.

Those who knew and met Michael Jackson in the past recalled their favorite moments with the Pop Star. And Janet Jackson made a surprise appearance thanking all of Michael's fans for their outpouring love of support to the family in this time of grief. Joe Jackson, Michael's father, was in the audience all through the show.

Also, last night at the BET Awards, Jaime Foxx and Martin Lawrence starred in a fake movie trailer called Skank Robbers. It was hilarious! They really should make this real. These two guys are too funny in drag! Check it out, below:

Michael Jackson Update

We are receiving pretty much up-to-the-minute updates on the death of Michael Jackson. There are so may unanswered questions regarding the circumstances surrounding his demise. The Jackson family is in the process of an independent firm handling a second autopsy. And the parents of Michael Jackson are suspicious of this Doctor Conrad Murray who was present at the time of Michael's death.

According to the Doc, Michael had a faint pulse in his bedroom. The doctor told the LA law enforcement that he discovered Michael Jackson while passing by his bedroom. Anyway, Murray supposedly tried to revive the Pop Star. And, the Doctor said that he had not administered any drugs to the singer at that time.

I hope the family will find closure in Michael Jackson's death. This is such a tragedy and I sincerely hope Michael Jackson's soul is able to Rest-in-Peace. My condolences go out to the Jackson family, friends, and associates. Michael Jackson was a true artist who touched so many lives all over the world.

It's just been reported that the Doctor, Conrad Robert Murray, a cardiologist licensed to practice in Texas and Nevada, is now being questioned by the police. We don't know if he was licensed to practice in California, but according to TMZ this doctor was staying with Michael Jackson at the rented home and administering daily injections of a pain killer, Demerol.

One of Michael Jackson's family members said that Michael had broken his leg and suffered from damaged vertebrae.

Breaking: Michael Jackson Dies | Cardiac Arrest

According to Michael Jackson's brother, Jermaine, the time of Michael's death is 2:26 p.m., Pacific Time (PT). This is a shocker!

Michael Jackson was a musical genius! He was in Los Angeles rehearsing at the Staples Center for his Comeback Tour to start this summer in the O2 Arena in London.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived. A cardiologist at UCLA tells TMZ Jackson died of cardiac arrest.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.

La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.~TMZ

In 2006, the original "Charlie's Angel's" star was diagnosed with anal cancer. Her long time partner Ryan O'Neal and her BFF Alana Stewart were at her bedside, along with her longtime friend and hairdresser Mila Murphy and her physician Dr. Piero. Farrah Fawcett was 62-years-old.

Farrah and Ryan's son, Redmond, was not present at the time of Farrah's death. He is serving time in jail and is waiting to see if he will be granted permission to attend his mother's funeral.

Ryan O'Neal has granted several interviews lately saying that he has asked to marry Farrah several times and each time her answer was no. Farrah Fawcett was once married to Lee Majors. Unfortunately, due to her condition of being in and out of consiousness Ryan and Farrah did not tie the knot.

Cop Shoots Two Suspects After Angels Game | Video

There was scuffle in the parking lot of the Angel Stadium after the baseball game last night. Two men allegedly attacked an off-duty police officer. The officer defended himself by shooting the two suspects. One suspect is in critical condition. And the officer has an injury to his head.

Authorities say an off-duty Anaheim police officer shot and wounded two men who had assaulted him in the Angel Stadium parking lot after a Colorado Rockies-Los Angeles Angels game.

Iowa Coach Gunned Down By Former Student

An Iowa high school coach who helped launch several professional football careers was gunned down in front of students by a former player who was taken to a psychiatric ward days earlier, authorities said. The coach, Ed Thomas, was gunned down in the school's weight room on Wednesday morning. He was a successful high school coach, starting his career in 1975. And, Coach Thomas was highly respected in his community.

Tragedy struck Parkersburg again Wednesday after famed high school football coach Ed Thomas was gunned down by a former player and student in the school’s weight room.

Thomas, 58, was supervising a group of around 20 students around 7:45 a.m., when Mark D. Becker, 24, of rural Parkersburg, came in and shot Thomas several times, according to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.

Late today, Becker had his initial appearance before a district associate judge in Butler County. Bond was set at $1 million, according to jail officials. The court hearing was held inside the jail, according to judicial officials.

Several reports say Thomas was shot in the head. Thomas later died at Covenant Medical Center after being airlifted there.

Kevin Winker, assistant DCI director, said during a press conference Wednesday authorities didn’t an any idea of what caused the shooting.

"I’m not going to speculate at this time as to what motive is," Winker said.

Winker said none of the other students were hurt at the time of the shooting. The school was locked down immediately after word of the shooting got out.

Becker was apprehended on Iowa Highway 14 in rural Parkersburg, near where his parents live. Becker claimed the same address several times in court documents.~source

Here's a good story. Come to find out m.i.a. 2-term South Carolina Governor, Mark Sanford (R-S.C.), was right here at the Atlanta Airport this morning. I guess he had just arrived from Argentina after having fun with his mistress.

Sanford's whereabouts were unknown since last Thursday. It turns out he was in Argentina for the past 5 days. This man has children but spent father's day weekend with his mistress. His staff said that he was hiking the Appalachian Trail. However, South Carolina's lieutenant governor, Andre Bauer, said he was not aware of Sanford's plan. And to add insult to injury on the citizens of the great state of South Carolina, A US embassy official in Buenos Aires told ABC's Joe Goldman that the embassy had "absolutely no idea" that Sanford was in Argentina. Say what???

Breaking: Chris Brown Cops A Plea

Just Breaking: Chris Brown's court date was today scheduled for 4:30 pm ET. He, his lawyer Mark Geragos, and family members arrived in Court. Shortly after, Rihanna entered the courthouse but did ot enter the courtroom. She was ordered to appear and expected to testify. This morning Brown's lawyer was in the Judge's chamber and it was rumored that Chris Brown would plea bargain.

TMZ just broke the news, real time, that Chris Brown has copped a plea in his assault case. He will spend 180 days in a labor domestic violence program and Brown gets 5 years probation for felony assault.

This is a developing story. I'll update here when I find more information on this breaking news.

Chris Brown has copped a plea in his assault case. He won't do jail time, but he will spend 6 months doing things like road cleanup. He's also been ordered to completely stay clear from Rihanna.

He'll spend 180 days doing hard labor in Virginia which is where Brown lives - it's equivalent to Caltrans or graffiti cleanup.

He gets 5 years probation for FELONY assault -- he pled guilty. He'll get supervised probation. He'll have to come back to court every three months.

He must enroll in a domestic violence counseling program.

The judge said she wanted to make sure that Chris Brown "was treated as any other person who comes through this court."

If Brown violates probation, he could get up to 4 years in prison.~TMZ

Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas, affectionately known as "Niley," finally reunited on stage. A lot of their fans have been waiting for this. And Miley surprised everyone in the audience on Saturday night, June 20, 2009, as the Jonas Brothers kicked off their World Tour 2009 at the new Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas.

The young teenage couple, both 16-years-old, did a fantastic job singing their hit duet - Before the Storm - and it was cute at the end when Miley kissed Nick on the cheek. These two are such great role models for 'tweens' and 'teens' in this relatively new 21st century.

A few days ago, in England, a 4-year-old boy decided that his week-old cocker spaniel needed a wash. The child dipped the puppy in the toilet to clean it then gave the toilet a flush. The toddler flushes the puppy down the toilet.

The child immediately told his mother what happened and she sprang into action to save the puppy. Luckily, after 4 hours of the puppy being trapped in a waste pipe, a drainage firm named Dyno-Rod was able to rescue the poor little pup. The puppy is back with his new family and doing fine.

Sexy Eva Mendes has managed to top even herself in this new Calvin Klein campaign. Everybody is talking about how her steamy shots are racy, even by her standards. She is daring to bare it all this time around.

In one photo in the video montage below Mendes poses in Morgan Clothing next to a buff-looking male and in another photo a buff male is placed in front of her showing only her face. But you can bet she leaves little to the imagination.

I think we can all recognize Calvin Klein's "MO" by now. He gets plenty of "free" publicity after pushing the envelope time-and-time again. But, at least this time he is using a model/celebrity that is of 'legal-age.' Thank goodness for that.

It was a kiss-fest and freak show. Halle was freaking Jamie [lol]. Some people have made comments on YouTube that they think it was disgraceful and others think it was Hot. Well... I think it was an adult show and Halle is an actress and she appeals to the male gender. So, she did what she did in the proper setting.

This 18-year-old Belgium teenager says she is a victim. She is suing the tattoo artist who tattooed 56 stars on her face. She said that she wanted only 3 stars tattooed on her face. She's asking for compensation so she can receive laser treatment for the removal of the tattoos. How did this happen? Well... the 'victim,' Kimberley Vlaeminck, said that she fell asleep and woke up later to the excessive amount of stars tattooed on her face.

Man Impersonates Dead Mom

A 49-year-old NY man has been charged in a bizarre plot to impersonate his deceased mother so he could collect well over $100,000 in government benefits.~AP

New York authorities caught up with a man they call an 'accomplished impersonator.' This man's mother died in 2003 and he has been posing as his dead mom for years. The NY District Attorney called it a brilliant scheme that netted the suspect around $117,000 in social security payments and rent subsidies. And there is more to this story. Pilot Dies Mid-Flight | Plane Lands Safely

This is some scary stuff that just happened this afternoon. Thank goodness the two co-pilots were properly trained and able to make a safe landing. Also the crew kept the bad news from the passengers so there would not be sheer panic. My condolences go out to the late flight captain's family and friends.

The captain of a Continental Airlines flight en route from Brussels to Newark died during the trip, but the flight landed safely with two co-pilots at the controls.

The pilot died of natural causes Thursday aboard Continental Flight 61, and two co-pilots took over flying the Boeing 777, said FAA spokesman Les Dorr.

The plane with 247 passengers aboard landed on time at Newark Liberty International Airport shortly before noon EDT Thursday. It left Brussels at 9:45 a.m.

Passengers weren't told of the pilot's death in flight. About midway through the trip, an announcement was made asking if any doctors were aboard, and several passengers approached the cockpit.~source

Patrick Farrow Commits Suicide | Mia Farrow's Brother

Mia Farrow's brother, an award winning Sculptor, Patrick Farrow, 66, was found dead Monday by his wife in their Vermont home. His wife, Susan, called 911 after discovering his lifeless body.

On Wednesday, the coroner in Vermont determined that Patrick Farrow died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The death was ruled a suicide.

Mia Farrow released the following statement on behalf of her family:

The family of Patrick Farrow is grieving the tragic loss of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who sadly chose to take his own life.

This is so sad. RIP Patrick Farrow.

Obama Swats Fly In MidAir With Bare Hands!

During his interview with CNBC yesterday President Obama was annoyed by a pesky fly in the room. The 44th President of the United States told the fly to get out of there. Unfortunately, the little fly did not heed the President's warning. So... the fly had to die. Obama swats the fly with his bare hands! The poor fly didn't have a chance. And to top it off, our President told the 'film crew' to document the dying fly on the floor. The White House will hear from PETA about this one.

David Letterman Apologizes Again June 15 2009

Last night David Letterman, the host of "Late Show with David Letterman," gave a 'heartfelt' apology to Sarah Palin and her family and to anyone who might have been offended by his inappropriate joke referring to Palin's 14-year-old daughter, Willow.

Letterman makes a formal apology Monday night, June 15 2009, but the Sarah Palin supporters vow to hold their planned rally scheduled for today at 4:30pm during Letterman's show taping outside of the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York. They are demanding that CBS fire David Letterman.

There are a couple of things David Letterman pointed out in his apology which I think are very important to remember, and I'm paraphrasing here: 'If you have to explain the joke, it's not funny. His intention was different from the perception. Letterman takes full responsibility and stresses that it's his fault that the joke was misunderstood.'

Air France AF447 | 6 More Bodies Found

On June 13 2009 - 6 more bodies were found in the Atlantic:

Six more bodies have been recovered from the Atlantic where an Air France plane crashed on June 1, Brazilian officials have confirmed.

Almost two weeks after the crash, Brazil's military said the search is becoming increasingly difficult and June 25 has now been pencilled as a date for halting efforts.

Military ships and planes are continuing to struggle in worsening weather to find more bodies and debris.

Rains have reduced visibility on the water and cloud cover has blocked satellite imagery.

The plane's black box - whose emergency beacon will begin to fade after 30 days - along with other wreckage from the crash all contains crucial clues as to how and why Air France Flight 447 went down en route from Rio de Janeiro to Paris.

A French nuclear submarine is scouring the search area in the hope of hearing pings from beacons attached to the equipment.

Special underwater listening devices from the US are due to arrive on Sunday.

The discovery of the further six bodies by a French ship brings the total recovered to 50.~source

HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher show host, Bill Maher, really told President Obama a thing or two. He is frustrated with President Obama's "personality shots." According to Bill Maher there are too many "celebrity ops" circulating and that's not good for the American people. What is being done? The Obama administration is talking about health care reform, but when will it be fixed? The financial institutions were bailed out with a 'blink of an eye' yet the American people still are faced with a multitude of problems in this down economy. The banks are laughing all the way to the ... well... you know... 'the bank!' [lol]

Bill Maher's commentary is right on target and he says what a lot of Americans are thinking -- 'right about now.' Check it out, below:

Celebs Watch Weekly June 14 2009

This week I found six very interesting video clips to watch on Celebs Watch Weekly. Unfortunately, I don't have one of my favorite weekly ambush clips since there wasn't anything interesting to watch in that area. However, I can assure you we have some juicy gossip, below:

Clip #1: Usher files for divorce from his wife, Tameka Foster, less then 2 years after their glitzy wedding at a Georgia resort. But, Tameka can look forward to some hefty child support payments with two very young sons she gave birth to by Usher in less than 2 years. Let's just hope she is entitled to some alimony. Remember, she has 3 other children to raise from a previous marriage.

Clip #2: Actress Jennifer Aniston joked about her love life and took a swipe at ex-husband Brad Pitt during the Women in Film awards Friday night in Los Angeles. This is some funny stuff. Aniston knows how to get your attention.

Clip #3: Check out your favorite celebrity mugshots. Some of you probably have already seen these infamous pics, but the narrator rates these photos and the commentary is hilarious, especially at the end.

Clip #4: Check out which celebrities are hot and which ones are most definitely not in this regular look at star style. This weekly fashion roundup is very informative and you might pick up some style tips.

Clip #5: Who is this heartthrob? This adorable toddler has grown up to become a mega movie star and heartthrob. Any guesses who this cutie is?

Clip #6: Malawi's high court rules that Madonna can adopt 3-year-old "Mercy James." Who said Madonna doesn't always get what she wants? Madonna does not play. The little tot's 18-year-old mom died in childbirth and she was being raised by her maternal grandmother and two uncles. Rumor has it that Madonna dropped a couple of million to help out the economy in Malawi. Let's hope the community benefits from her financial contribution. Congrats' to Madonna on her successful adoption.

Amanda KnoxAmanda Knox, the 21-year-old American exchange student is under cross-examination today, Saturday, June 13 2009, in Italy. She told a packed court in Perugia, Italy, that she was hit and abused by police as they interrogated her about the events surrounding the Briton's death, Meredith Kercher, in 2007.

Knox said:

"The police officers interrogating me said they would put me in prison for 30 years for being a liar."

Miss Kercher, 21, from Coulsdon, Surrey, was found dead in her bedroom on November 2, 2007 in the house she lived in with Knox and others on her year abroad in the Umbrian town.

Her throat had been slit and her semi-naked body was partially covered by a duvet.

Prosecutors accuse Knox and her Italian former lover, Raffaele Sollecito, 25, of killing the Leeds University student after she refused to take part in a sex game.

Knox told police she had spent the night of the murder at Sollecito's apartment.

But, she said, they refused to believe her.~source

It appears that Knox and her Italian boyfriend, Sollecito, were involved in the death of the other student and housemate, Meredith Kercher, but if you watch the two closely, by observing their photos and video footage, these two young people have no intention of spending one day in prison. We shall see how it all ends in the end. . .

David Letterman's Apology To Sarah Palin | Video

Photo: APEarlier this week David Letterman gave his usual Top 10 List of jokes and this list was focused on the first woman to run as a Republican Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin. Letterman essentially called Palin a slut and made a very crude joke that was totally inappropriate referring to one of her daughters. Letterman thought he was referring to Bristol when he joked about A-Rod 'knocking her up' at the Yankees game, but the 14-year-old daughter, Willow, was the one attending that Yankees game. It was a bad slip on his part.

72 Year Old Woman Tasered In Texas | Video

The Travis County Constable's Office in Texas released video this week showing Kathryn Winkfein, 72, hitting the ground and moaning while while being tasered after her confrontation with Chris Bieze, Travis County sheriff's deputy.

Mrs Winkfein was stopped for driving 60 mph in a 45-mph zone just west of Austin. Video from a camera in the deputy's car showed Mrs Winkfein, who is 4ft 11 inches tall, refusing to sign her speeding ticket. Then she gets out of her truck and continues to confront the sheriff deputy.

Now, the 72-year-old woman has threatened to sue police after her 'taser' experience with the cop. Travis County law enforcement said that Mrs. Winkfein made it very difficult, for the sheriff on the scene, with her combative behavior. Of course, Mrs. Winkfein denies being argumentative.

Zack Morris on Jimmy Fallon Show | Saved By The Bell Reunion

Mark-Paul Gosselaar aka Zack Morris, from the popular teen sitcom "Saved By The Bell" that ran from 1988 to 1993, was a guest on NBC's Late Night Show with Jimmy Fallon Monday night. Jimmy Fallon is petitioning to have a "Saved By The Bell" reunion on his show in the very near future. Actually, Fallon just needs to get the main past cast members on board.

View the video clip, below, of last night's show. It is very entertaining. Luckily Gosselaar still looks great dressed up as his most famous character, 'Zack Morris,' since he is only 35-years-old today. Mark-Paul Gosselaar's birthdate is March 1, 1974.

Euna Lee and Laura Ling Sentenced to Hard Labor in North Korea

North Korean Court just sentenced two American 'Current TV' journalists, Euna Lee and Laura Ling, to 12 years of hard labor. They received this sentence, after their trial began last Thursday, for crossing the border from China over to North Korea illegally for the purpose of taping a documentary on Korean soil.

U.S. officials have been trying to get the two women released from jail to no avail. Now, Al Gore, founder of Current TV, might be able to go over to that country to talk with the leaders. However, that has not been confirmed. The sentence cannot be appealed. The court's decision in North Korea is final. Lee and Ling were arrested back in March 2009.

This is a developing story. I'll update here if I hear that the two journalists have miraculously been released from the 'hard labor camp.'

Thairath Carradine Photo Leak Outrages Family

The family of actor David Carradine is horrified at a leaked forensic photo showing the "Kill Bill" actor's bound body in an open closet of a Bangkok hotel room last week. The photo was published by a local Bangkok newspaper, Thairath, in their Saturday, June 6 2009 edition.

Carradine's family is asking the FBI to investigate the actor's death. And the Post reports that

attorney Mark Geragos suggested that Carradine may have been killed as he tried to uncover groups working in the martial-arts underworld.

The plot thickens. Two of David Carradine's ex-wives are talking about his penchant for 'erotica' and no doubt we will hear from others as the investigation continues. The FBI has not said whether they plan on helping in the investigation.

4 Men Rob Philly Department Store in 48 Seconds! | Raw Video

Now... here is a crime you don't see every day. This robbery was carried out so smoothly, June 4 2009, until it looks like a scene from a movie. The 4 masked men in the surveillance video, below, robbed a stylish Philadelphia Department Store and fled with watches worth over $300,000! And they accomplished this crime in less than 48 seconds. Can you believe that?!? I would not have believed it without the surveillance video as proof of this crime caper.

Where is Batman when we need him? Oh... I forgot... Batman is in Gotham City [LOL].

Police Lt. Frank Vanore said two men walked into Boyds on Thursday afternoon wearing masks and gloves and attacked the security guard. Vanore says one had what appeared to be a gun. The guard was attacked with a tear gas spray. Police say 10 seconds later, two other men then walked in with hammers and smashed a display case to grab the watches.

The four men fled in a car and were gone within 48 seconds. By Thursday night, police released surviellance video in hopes of getting the public's help in identifying suspects.

Alabama Man Pleads Guilty in Scuba Diving Case

Alabama man, Gabe Watson, pleads guilty to his wife's scuba diving death of 2003. Eleven days after their wedding, newlywed Christina Mae Watson drowned during a honeymoon scuba diving trip on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

A fellow diver said that he witnessed Gabe Watson engaged in an underwater "bear hug" with his wife then quickly headed to the surface while Christina sank to the ocean floor. David Watson, now 32 years of age, arrived in Brisbane, Australia last month to answer a murder charge in the death of his wife on October 22, 2003.

On Friday Gabe Watson pleaded guilty in an Australian Court. The judge gave him a 4 year prison sentence on manslaughter charge. However, the time will be suspended after Watson spends only one year in jail.

Kung Fu Actor David Carradine Found Dead | Was It Accidental?

Actor David Carradine was extremely popular in the 1970's and continued being a star decades later with his cult following for his roles in the movies Kung Fu and just recently Kill Bill. Kill Bill is my personal favorite. Carradine was found dead in a Thailand hotel room today, June 4 2009, by a maid, after he was a 'no show' at a dinner 12 hours earlier. According to BBC news, David Carradine, 72, was in Thailand filming his latest movie, Stretch.

Carradine, 72, was in Thailand filming the movie Stretch when his body was discovered Thursday morning. "I can confirm that we found his body, naked, hanging in the closet," Lt. Teerapop Luanseng tells the Associated Press. He said police suspected suicide, according to AP.

Although Carradine had spoken openly of his past battles with drugs and alcohol and thoughts of suicide, his manager says the actor had been in good spirits, eager to work on the current film and three more lined up when he returned to the United States.~source

This could be an accidental death. An investigation is underway. RIP David Carradine, you were a good one - job well done! My condolences go out to his family and friends in their time of grief.

Air France Flight AF447 Debris Found | Flight Mystery

BREAKING NEWS: UPDATE JUNE 6 2009

: Bodies of 2 men, one confirmed passenger of Air France Flight 447, were found early Saturday, according to a Brazilian air force spokesman.

Also found were a backpack and a leather briefcase containing an airplane ticket with a reservation code, which Air France verified belonged to a passenger on the jet, Jorge Amaral said.

The Brazilian navy and air force said the backpack contained a laptop, and an oxygen mask also was discovered, the Brazilian navy and air force said.

Air force officials announced the news in Recife, Brazil. The items were discovered 420 miles north of the Fernando de Noronha islands, 220 miles (355 kilometers) off the northeast coast of Brazil.~source

Debris from the doomed Air France Flight A447 was found on June 2 2009, but the cause of the crash remains a mystery. However, oil stains were found among the debris, and because of this evidence Brazil's defense minister said that this proves the plane was not sabotaged by terrorists bombs. Other analysts and investigators aren't so sure.

Brazilian and French planes have been searching over the area of the crash and Brazilian navy ships are recovering the debris as fast as they can before it spreads out and sinks to the deep ocean floor. The debris will be taken to France for further investigation, according to AFP news agency.

The flight data recorders aka "black boxes" or bodies of the 228 passengers and crew members have not been located. Relatives of the people on board Flight 447 have been told that there is no hope of finding survivors.

A Spanish pilot flying in the area at the time of the crash was quoted by his airline, Air Comet, as saying he had seen an "intense flash of white light, which followed a descending and vertical trajectory and which broke up in six seconds".~source

Now it's a race against time for the Brazilian Air Force to reach the crash site before the remaining debris sinks into the ocean - taking any chance of discovering what happened to Flight 447 with it.

They are desperate to recover the plane’s two black-box flight recorders which are now likely to be at the bottom of the ocean. They emit location signals for only 30 days.

But officials said there was virtually no chance of finding any of the 228 crew and passengers, including five Britons.

Distraught relatives who had prayed for a miracle gave up hope as experts were certain that all aboard died on the flight, which left Rio de Janeiro on Sunday night bound for Paris.

'I just want to find my son's body so that he can have a dignified burial,' said Aldair Gomes, the father of Marcelo Parente, who was the head of the Rio mayor's cabinet.

So far no bodies have been sighted on flyovers by the air force, which spotted evidence of the catastrophe yesterday, allowing the navy to mount a retrieval operation.~source

My heart goes out to the many families, friends, and co-workers of the deceased passengers and crew members. This is a tragedy.

AirFrance Plane Missing

UPDATE: JUNE 4 2009: DEBRIS FOUND FROM AIR FRANCE FLIGHT 449: CLICK HERE FOR THE LATEST VIDEO REPORT.

Officials said the AirFrance Airbus A330-200 is missing. It lost contact with radar while flying from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Paris with 228 passengers on board. According to the airline the Jet suffered electrical failure in stormy weather before losing contact. Officials fear the plane has crashed into the Atlantic.

The last known contact with the plane -- carrying 126 men, 82 women, seven children and a baby, plus the crew -- was at 0133 GMT Monday (8:33 p.m. Sunday ET), according to the Brazilian Air Force.

Brazil says it has launched two air force squadrons to hunt near the archipelago of Fernando de Noronha in the Atlantic Ocean, 365 kilometers (226 miles) from its coast, although the plane vanished outside the country's radar coverage.

The Air Force said the jet was last logged flying at an altitude of 10,600 meters (35,000 feet) before contact was lost. When the plane failed to make further contact, Brazilian air controllers contacted their counterparts in Senegal.~source

LeBron James Storms Off Court | Orlando Magic Goes To Finals | Video

Of course the MVP of the NBA, LeBron James, is extremely disappointed that his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, lost out to Orlando Magic for the 2009 NBA Finals. However, good sportsmanship is crucial in team sports or any competitive sports. That is one important aspect of playing the 'game' that children learn growing up from their respective coaches. If you lose then you lose, and you must congratulate the winning team.

After the Cavaliers' defeat over the weekend to Orlando Magic, LeBron James seemed out of character and did not congratulate the winners nor did he speak to the media after the game. It was so bad until some sports commentators have said that he didn't even allow the confetti to touch his shoulder. James pulled his shirt over his head, covering his face, and made some quick steps to the exit. LeBron James stormed off the court.

Orlando Magic defeated Cleveland Cavaliers, 103 - 90. Magic won the Series 4 - 2 and they advanced to the NBA Finals. The LeBron James Cavaliers and the Kobe Bryant Lakers matchup will not happen this year. Too bad. . . but the Cavaliers lost and let's move on. Congrats' go out to Orlando Magic!

Sacha Baron Cohen Lands On Top of Eminem | MTV Awards

Sacha Baron Cohen's "Bruno" star performed an unmentionable last night at this MTV Movie Awards. His 'backside' landed on top of Eminem. This happened after "Slim Shady" performed a medley of his tracks. Eminem was sitting in the audience when Cohen's gay alter ego, Bruno, flew overhead in a dove costume. His na**d backside landed upside down in Eminem's lap. After Eminem's 'posse' worked frantically to get 'Bruno' off of Eminem, the famous rapper stormed out of the MTV Music Awards Show in Los Angeles.
