Nancy Kerrigan's Brother Pleads Not Guilty

Nancy Kerrigan's 70-year-old father was found dead Sunday morning. Her 45-year-old brother, Mark, is charged with murdering his father. Several reports are circulated online. One report is that father and son were arguing over a phone. Things escalated to the point of the son assaulting the father, which contributed greatly to the father's death. This story is developing. This is the best cover or remix I've seen so far on YouTube. Colonel Larry Platt, 62, decided to audition for American Idol while the judges were in Atlanta. Even though the cut-off age is 28, Mr. Platt made a point to get his message out to the young men who insist on wearing their 'pants on the ground.'

Mr. Platt said it's time to pull your pants up, take the 'gold' out of your mouth, and stop wearing your hat sideways.

Wyclef Jean To Co-Host Hope For Haiti Telethon

Wyclef Jean will co-host George Clooney's upcoming “Hope for Haiti” telethon scheduled for next week. Wyclef Jean is a Haitian-born musician/activist.

The 37-year-old musician has been seeking support for the devastated people of Haiti ever since a magnitude 7.0 earthquake rocked the country last Tuesday.

Clooney will host from LA, Wyclef from New York City, and CNN’s Anderson Cooper from Haiti. The two-hour special will air commercial-free at 8 p.m. on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CNN, BET, the CW, HBO, MTV, VH1 and CMT.

Wyclef’s charitable foundation, Yéle Haiti, came under fire earlier this week after watch groups raised questions about expenses paid to businesses owned by Jean and another member of the board.

Anderson Cooper Says Stupid Death in Haiti Now

Financial contributions have been pouring in to the Haiti Earthquake Relief. Emergency staff globally are moving as fast and as efficient as possible to get water, food, and medical supplies to the victims. Yet, injured people are dying.

According to CNN's Anderson Cooper, some of the injured Haitians are dying simply because relief cannot reach them in time for medical treatment.

This is what Anderson Cooper said Friday night on Larry King Live:

There's just stupid death happening here now. It doesn't have to happen, and it's really upsetting to see. A little girl is dying because her leg was crushed. Someone doesn't have to die of that. A leg can be amputated if there's a doctor there to do it. If there's antibiotics, they can take an infection to be treated. It doesn't have to spread through the body and kill somebody. It's really stupid. It's infuriating. People died today who did not need to die. People will die tonight, in the next hour, who do not need to die.~source

Haiti Hip Hop Star Jimmy O Killed in Earthquake

Jimmy O, 35, a well known hip hop star in Haiti, was killed in Tuesday’s earthquake. His body was discovered in a crushed vehicle in Port-au-Prince on Friday. CNN was on the scene when his body was discovered and has confirmed a passport found in the victim’s pocket identified him as Jean Jimmy Alexandre, Jimmy O’s real name.

“His loss will be tremendous in Haiti,” said his agent, Henry Robert Dominique. According to his agent, Jimmy O helped Haitian musician Wyclef Jean run Yele Haiti, a charity organization now heavily involved in the relief effort in Haiti.

RIP Jimmy O. My heart goes out to all Haitians and the Americans suffering from this natural disaster.

The host for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve was Ryan Seacrest this year, while 80-year-old Dick Clark was present at the live show despite the stroke he had back in 2004.

The show was aired live at 10:00 P.M. The important thing about the Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve show was Adam Lambert, who was suppose to perform on this year’s show, but due to his “absolutely ridiculous and idiotic” performance “I rather call it a Stunt” at American Music Awards ABC cancelled his performance.

Times Square New Years Eve 2010 Live performances include Daughtry and JLo. Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve not only presented performances from Times Square New Years Eve 2010 Live but also showed performances from new Las Vegas venue. The performances from Las Vegas include The Black Eyed Peas, Robin Thicke, Colbie Caillat, Selena Gomez, Orianthi, Justin Bieber, and Keri Hilson, while Fergie hosted the show in Las Vegas.~source
