Oprah Announces Twilight Eclipse Trailer | Video

The final movie trailer for Twilight Eclipse has arrived on the internet after debuting on Oprah's Talk Show today. Eclipse is the 3rd chapter in the Twilight Saga starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. It's scheduled to open in theaters on June 30, 2010. Monique's Brother Gerald Imes Admits To Molestation | Video

Gerald Imes, the brother of Oscar Winner Mo’Nique, has admitted to molesting the actress when he was 13 and Monique was around 7 years of age. I watched Oprah's interview with Gerald Imes, where Imes apologized to Mo’Nique and talked about his sordid past. Also, it was revealed that this molesting brother served at least a dozen years in prison for molesting someone else in the past.

Gerald Imes said he was sexually abused as a child, however he gave no hint or description in referring to his abusers. He did say there were more than one.

His abuse of his sister, Mo'Nique, lasted about 2 years, according to Imes:

I abused and betrayed the trust of another sibling, my sister, my blood sister. I’m sorry Mo’Nique. I’m sorry. Hopefully, somewhere, somehow, as siblings, we can come back together as brother and sister.

I don't know if Gerald Imes is telling the truth about being molested himself, but he exhibits the classic behavior and body language of a "control freak" and "misogynist." This guy was kind of creepy. And Mo'Nique and Gerald's poor parents just want this whole thing to go away.

According to the parents, Mo'Nique has hurt the whole family with this revelation going global. Mon'Nique's mom said that the last time she spoke with her daughter was 2.5 years ago. Mo'Nique cut off communicating with her family years ago. Now she has returned, in a way, to haunt their every step...

Hate Crime Coviction In New York | Video

A Long Island teenager has been convicted of manslaughter as a hate crime in the stabbing of an Ecuadorean immigrant. The case cast a national spotlight on bias crimes against Hispanics.

Four of the assailant's half-dozen accomplices pleaded guilty to a hate crime, targeting Hispanics in Long Island, NY.

This is a very sad case, but it's good to know that this mayhem and murder will not continue in that area.

Susan Boyle Cancels Austalian Concert

There appears to be a lot of internal strife between YouTube Sensation Susan Boyle's family and her management. Meanwhile, Boyle just received a royalty check for $6.6 million.

SUSAN Boyle's cancellation of her Australian visit has exposed a deepening rift between her family and management.

Some of the Scottish singer's closest relatives are furious over how she has been guided since Britain's Got Talent made her the world's most unlikely star.

"The Boyle family have made it very clear to Susan's management that we neither trust nor approve of them," brother Gerry said yesterday.

"Certain things have come to light. We are very, very concerned and very, very angry with the way she is being treated."~source

Designing Women Star Dixie Carter Dies

One of America's beloved TV Star and Southern Belle, Dixie Carter, passed away yesterday, Saturday, April 10, 2010...

LOS ANGELES — Dixie Carter, the "Designing Women" star who used her Southern charm, quick wit and stately beauty in a host of roles on Broadway and television, died Saturday. She was 70.

Publicist Steve Rohr, who represents Carter and her husband, actor Hal Holbrook, said Carter died Saturday morning. He would not disclose where she died or the cause of death. Carter and Holbrook lived in the Los Angeles area.

"This has been a terrible blow to our family," Holbrook said in a written statement. "We would appreciate everyone understanding that this is a private family tragedy."

A native of Tennessee, Carter was most famous for playing wisecracking Southerner Julia Sugarbaker for seven years on "Designing Women," the CBS sitcom that ran from 1986 to 1993. The series was the peak of a career in which she often played wealthy and self-important but independent Southern women.~AP

Tiki Barber Scandal: Wife Devastated

Tiki Barber's 8-month pregnant wife Ginny Cha is reportedly “devastated” over husband Tiki Barber’s affair with NBC intern Traci Lynn Johnson. Sources say Cha, 8 months pregnant with twins, “had no idea” Barber had a mistress.

“There were no [apparent] problems in the marriage. Ginny is devastated by this. All of this came out of the blue,” says an insider. Barber’s affair with Johnson, 23, reportedly began in 2008. Johnson is said to have been the regular babysitter for Barber and Cha’s two sons. And Johnson was an intern at NBC.

Barber, a Today Show correspondent, announced their divorce on Wednesday.

After 11 years of marriage, Ginny and I have decided to separate," Barber, a Today Show correspondent said in a statement. "This decision was a painful one, but we are moving forward amicably and will continue to work together to raise our children with the love and dedication they have always known.

Neither Barber nor Cha has commented on the mistress allegations.

Bodies of 4 Missing West Virginia Miners Found | Death Toll 29

The search for the four missing West Virginia miners ended around 1 a.m. EST Saturday, April 10, 2010, after search crews at the Upper Big Branch mine discovered their bodies. This was five days after an explosion claimed the lives of 25 other miners.

Search crews had held out hope for the four missing miners but several attempts to enter the mine were short-lived due to toxic levels of gas. The hope was resting on the miners finding one of the airtight chambers in the mine that would have protected them from the gas but those chambers were found to be empty.

News of the four miners’ deaths was announced by West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin who said “The journey has ended.”

My heart goes out to the families of these hard working and committed miners.

Robert Pattinson to Bulk Up For Twilight: Breaking Dawn

According to reliable sources Twilight:Breaking Dawn will start filming later this year, most likely this Summer. Although the new director is yet to be announced, it could be directed by the award winning Director Condon who directed "Dreamgirls" among other hits. Also, "Twilight:Breaking Dawn" might be presented in 2 parts.

Robert Pattinson to bulk up for 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn'. According to celebrity-gossip.net, Robert Pattinson, star of Summit Entertainment's incredibly successful "Twilight" franchise, is reportedly planning to hop on the Taylor Lautner band wagon by bulking up for the highly anticipated fourth installment in the vampire series titled "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn".

Pattinon has reportedly been consuming excess protein including whole chickens from a UK establishment known as Nandos.~source
