This goes to show that you never know what 12 Jurors will decide at the end of a trial. Unfortunately, for the prosecution the evidence was mainly "circumstantial." People have been convicted on "circumstantial evidence." Just look at the Scott Peterson case to see how that is the case. But, I suspect that this Jury did not want to put this young, attractive, 25-year-old woman, on death row, or even convict her of first degree murder. The 'child is dead' and it has been 3-years since the crime happened.
The jury might even think that Casey Anthony is guilty of this crime, but the prosecution, though they did brilliant work in presenting scientific evidence and had outstanding closing arguments, did not prove this case 'beyond a reasonable doubt.' The jury might have wanted to see this young woman rehabilitated as a free person. Maybe they felt that since you can't bring back Caylee, the mother should have a 'new lease on life.' Finding a defendant 'Not Guilty' does not mean that you think they are 'innocent.' It just means that you found 'reasonable doubt' as to their guilt in the court of law.
Since the Jury is not talking, we will never know what went on in that jury room doing deliberations. This case is over. It's time for everyone to get on with their lives. But, one thing for sure, we will hear about Casey, Cindy, George, and Lee Anthony in the future. The public will want to know about their lives in the future. I sincerely hope the Anthony family will be able to move on from this trial. However, I don't know if Casey Anthony will change her ways and mature from this. I will not judge Casey Anthony. I mean... who among us wants to be convicted of first degree murder, or just sit in a prison cell for the rest of our lives?
Casey Anthony is a free woman and soon to be a very rich woman. It already has been reported that she has an $8 million Book Deal offered to her. Think of the money from interviews, other appearances, and movie deals. This time a true "Sociopath" will profit from her alleged crime. Bella Vita, indeed! Go figure...
