Amid cheers and jeers, Anthony Weiner resigned from his Congressional post Thursday afternoon, June 16, 2011. We all know the story by now. Check out the video below:

Weiner spoke for less than five minutes and chose for his exit a site heavy in symbolism and nostalgia: a Brooklyn senior-citizens home where he launched his political career in the early 1990s by announcing his run for City Council. Several residents, many leaning on canes or in wheelchairs, crowded the sides of the room, normally used for meals or social events.

If Weiner thought the location would guarantee a dignified or somber parting, he was wrong. Cheers from supporters competed with shouts from at least two hecklers from the moment he entered the room. One heckler was from Howard Stern's radio show; another screamed, "Bye bye, pervert!"~source

On Wednesday Andrew Brietbart showed a photo, that supposedly is of Rep. Anthony Weiner's private parts, to Sirius XM radio hosts Opie and Anthony, via his cell phone. Of course, Brietbart said that he would not release this photo to the public. But, somehow the photo was captured on another cell phone and tweeted out to the web. Gawker published the uncensored photo.

Opie has been tweeting about the episode throughout the day. He acknowledged he tried unsuccessfully to take a picture of Breitbart's phone screen. He then tweeted: "Wasn't until @AndrewBreitbart left the studio that we realized what was captured on our video camera."

His partner Anthony issued a statement to the press that reads, in part:

"I want to make it clear that Andrew Breitbart had no knowledge that this photo was being made public. A phone with the photo was being displayed and a camera in the studio caught it. It was then uploaded to Twitter, again, without Andrew Breitbart's knowledge. I regret that this occurred."

The embarrassing revelation of probably the most explicit among the photos Weiner has been sharing with women online comes the same day several news outlets are reporting that Weiner's wife, 35-year-old Huma Abedin, is pregnant with the couple's first child.~source

Since this photo has been released, his fellow Democrats on The Hill are screaming for Weiner's resignation. This is so sad. I feel for the man's wife.

Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 | Movie Trailer

Finally, for you Twihards out there, the teaser trailer for Breaking Dawn, part 1 just came out and it's awesome! I'm not a Twihard but I did enjoy watching the last two Twilight Saga movies. I think the casting is superb and the movie contains a host of compelling actors.

Bella and Edward walk down the aisle in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1," the latest movie adaptation of hugely successful vampires-and-werewolves series from author Stephenie Meyer.

The finale of the series was so big that it was split into two movies. Part 1 premieres November 18, 2011, and Part 2 doesn't hit theaters until about a year later, on November 16, 2012.~source

Well... Well... Well... Rep Anthony Weiner decided to come clean, Monday evening, about sending lewd photos to young women online. He admitted to inappropriate online relationships with 6 women on Facebook and Twitter. Boy... Social Media is getting plenty of people in trouble these days. But, you can't blame social media. These folks would have clandestine relationships anyway. It's just that with Social Media their secrets are unfolded at a rapid pace. It's too bad this successful and 'use to be likeable' politician is what young women would call a "creepy middle-aged man."

Tornado in Western Massachusetts | Video

There was a devastating tornado in western Massachusetts yesterday shortly after 4 pm ET. When it was all over 4 people were killed and 40 injured.

Television footage from CNN affiliate WSHM showed one tornado churn up water on the Connecticut River before it passed over a bridge with cars on it and moved into Springfield.

The tornado created a massive debris field, swirling giant pieces of wood, concrete and other materials at least 25 stories high -- in front of the tall downtown building that houses the affiliate.~source

Looks like Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-NY, likes to show his alleged "boner" to unsuspecting young women followers on his Twitter account. According to reports the charismatic Congressman sent a picture of himself in his underwear, showing an erection, to a 21-year-old college student in Seattle. Of course, the politician said that he did not send this photo. According to him, his account at "yfrog," which allows twitpics, was hacked. And, he said that he could not say "with certitude" that this photo is not one of him in his underwear showing the imprint of his seemingly well-endowed wiener.
