Floyd Mayweather Knocks Out Victor Ortiz in 4th Round!

Photo: Getty Images

It was a KO, folks! "Money" Mayweather knocks out "Vicious" Ortiz in the 4th round! It seemed like it was going to go the distance but Ortiz had a point deducted early in the 4th round for his second time being caught "head butting" Mayweather. And he and his camp complained about Mayweather possibly "elbowing" during the fight. Anyway, this guy, Ortiz, starts "apologizing" to Mayweather and goes to give him a hug during the fight. Mayweather promptly hits Ortiz with a left hook, then hit him with a right down the middle and kocked Ortiz out!

The crowd's reaction was anger. They started booing and continued with extreme booing while Mayweather exited the arena.

Mayweather is leaving the ring accompanied by intense boos. Ortiz is leaving now, shrugging and smiling. As unsportmanslike as Mayweather was in winning, Ortiz was not being professional in tapping gloves and backing away without his hands up -- especially knowing Mayweather's prior behavior.~source

Floyd Mayweather vs Victor Ortiz Weigh-In Video

Photo: Julie Jacobson / Associated Press
After a 16-month layoff, some people are doubting if 34-year-old Floyd Mayweather can hold on to his flawless boxing record of 41-0. However, he is the favorite to win tonight's Welterweight Championship bout. His opponent, 24-year-old Victor Ortiz will be defending his title and this is this young fighter's first time in the "Big Time." "Vicious" Victor Ortiz fighting record is 29-2-2, 22KO. Younger and bigger than Mayweather, Ortiz comes off a huge win over Andre Berto that made Ortiz the WBC Champion at 147 pounds. "Money" Mayweather was so impressed with that performance that he hand-picked Ortiz to be his next opponent. Floyd Mayweather, Jr.'s fighting record is 41-0, 25KO. Mayweather weighed in at 146 1/2 pounds.

We'll have to wait for tonight's fight to see if Mayweather lives up to the hype. He definitely looks good. I don't think he will suffer from "ring rust." Mayweather has tremendous defensive skills and is a master at adjusting to his opponents' moves in the ring. A lot of Boxing critics refer to Mayweather as a rare "Pure Fighter or Boxer."

Kristen Stewart Poses for W Magazine | Photos

Kristen Stewart aka "Bella" of the Twilight Saga sat for a photo shoot last month. She is on the cover of the Fall Issue of W Magazine. I hardly recognized her! The 21-year-old movie star usually dresses down with a hint of makeup. Check out the slideshow above of her stunning 1960s style makeover. These sexy magazine pics highlight her smoky blue eyes. The last photo in the slideshow shows Kristen Stewart as we all know her. It's amazing what makeup artists can do!!! Of course, you can only look like that if you have a certain "bone structure." And, fortunately for Kristen Stewart, she has it.

Watch Breaking Dawn Part 1 Teaser | Video

This is a great teaser for you Twihards out there, and for just about anyone else who appreciates a thoughtful movie trailer or teaser. The Twilight Saga comes to an end soon, starting in November of this year. Actually, I loved the first Twilight Saga movie, and the second one was interesting. They say that these last two installments, Breaking Dawn 1 and 2, will be as close to the book as possible. I'm sure I will check out the rest of the Twilight Saga, even though I am not a Twihard. I just enjoy interesting movies.

Djokovic Wins US Open 2011 | Beats Nadal | Video

Photo: Stan Honda / AFP / Getty Images / September 12, 2011

This comes as no surprise, Novak Djokovic defeats Rafael Nadal. What is so humiliating for Nadal is that Djokovic deafeated him in their last 5 matches. Unfortunately for Nadal, Djokovic has his game and is under his skin. Now, Nadal must go back to the drawing board and radically change his strategy. But, Nadal was gracious in defeat. He essentially said that he is a fighter and will come back stronger. This guy has the right attitude!

Novak Djokovic had something to prove yesterday. After stinging comments from Roger Federer who was defeated by Djokovic, this player had to show that his triumph over "the great" Federer was not a fluke. Federer said that Djokovic beat him by having some "Lucky Shots." Federer was not gracious in defeat. He needs to go back to the drawing board and change his strategy if he wants to have a chance at beating the new "Head Honcho" of tennis. Novak Djokovic is the man!

US Open: Serena Williams Loses to Samantha Stosur | Shout Video

Photo: Getty Images
Yes, it happened. The great Serena Williams loses to Samantha Stosur. The final score: 6-2, 6-3. Stosur, the number 9 seed, was the first Australian woman to win a grand slam since 1980. Stosur kept Williams off balance during the entire match. I'm looking forward to watching Samantha Stosur win more grand slams in the near future!

Unfortunately, during the match Serena yelled out "Come On" during one of her powerful shots while at the net. The yell came right before Stosur made contact with the ball. The "chair umpire" immediately called that an "intentional hindrance" was committed by Williams and penalized her by giving that game to Stosur. Serena was incensed at that point, later berating the official by calling her a "hater and unattractive inside" among other things.

I'm not defending Serena Williams' behavior, but it is intense out there for elite athletes competing in the Final Match of a Grand Slam Tournament. I agree with John McEnroe that the call should have been a "Let" not a forfeiture of a game. They should have played the point over. The punishment was too severe. But, we all know, it's a 'judgment call.' What can we say? If Stosur had yelled that utterance would she had been punished as severely? We'll never know, since Stosur has been given the nickname "Stoic Stosur." Go figure...

This is not to take anything away from Samantha Stosur. She played a better tennis match and deserved to win. CONGRATULATIONS TO SAMANTHA STOSUR --- JOB WELL DONE!!!

Katt Williams Says He Is Not Sorry for Rant | Video

One thing experienced and "crazy" comedians will not tolerate is a "heckler." If you start in on them and don't back down they will forget about their planned routine and "ride you the whole time they have on stage." That's just the way they are, and let the chips fall where they may. These type of comedians don't care about the consequences. And they hate apologizing when it's all over. As far as they are concerned, it's "the heckler's fault" not theirs. "The heckler made it all come out, no matter how ugly it sounds from the comedian." If the audience continues to roar with laughter, they are on the side of the comedian. If the audience gets quiet during the "comedian's rant" and starts to clear out of the place and "boo" the comedian, then you had better believe the comedian is in trouble as far as getting "gigs" in the future. Look at that guy from the Seinfeld show. Have you heard from him, lately?

Katt Williams' publicist issued an apology to the Mexican community for Katt Williams' rant in Arizona a few days ago while on stage. However, Katt Williams said that he meant every word he said:
Comedian Katt Williams isn’t really sorry for an anti-Mexican rant he made during a performance, he said on CNN on Saturday morning.

In fact, despite an apology attributed to him released by his publicist earlier this week, Williams said he “meant what I said and said what I meant."

The controversial comments were caught in a video posted online. Williams, who was performing at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix, asked a man in the crowd if he was a Mexican.

"It appears to me y'all like it over here a lot," he said.

"Do you remember when white people used to say 'Go back to Africa,' and we'd have to tell them we don't want to? So if you love Mexico, (expletive), get the (expletive) over there!"

It then got ugly – and Williams finished the argument with "We were slaves (expletive). You just work like that as landscapers."

Williams said on CNN that he was just defending his country to one man – but couldn't be racist because he had so many Mexican fans.

"If I had disrespected Mexicans, I wouldn't have been able to get out of there alive," the hot-mouthed comic said.

Oh yeah, the guy from Seinfeld was Michael Richards. Here's the footage of his "racist rant." He responded to two "black guy hecklers." Check it out:

Chris Brown Flys On MTV-VMA 2011 | Video

Last Sunday, the 28th of August the MTV-VMA 2011 Awards aired and it was exciting to watch, as usual. But, some performances were what I would call mediocre (not calling out names) and some artists took it to the next level. I'm going to show video of the performances I thought were pretty outstanding to very good.

First off, the best performance of VMA 2011 was the dance by Chris Brown. He really did not come to sing. It was a Modern Dance, folks. This young man is outstanding! He has his "trademark" moves and choreographed his creation to near perfection! "Michael Jackson" would be proud. Of course, Chris Brown has forever tarnished his legacy in some people's eyes for punching Rihanna. We don't know what all happened that fateful night, but there is no excuse for his past action. However, he asked for forgiveness and has tried to go on with his life and entertain millions with his tremendous talent. It was a joy to watch him perform! Check it out below:

The next great performance at the VMA awards was by a young woman with a powerful voice! She has a voice we have been missing, lately. Her name is Adele. Check out her singing, below. If you close your eyes while she sings, you will have a peaceful feeling all over your body:

Bruno Mars' tribute to the late Amy Winehouse was well done:

I'm sure you've heard that Beyonce announced on the "Black Carpet" before the show started that she is "with child." Beyonce and Jay-Z are expecting their first child. Some say this is no big surprise since Beyonce has said many times that she wanted to have a baby by the time she turned 30-years-of-age. She sang "Love on Top." I love Beyonce's energy, but don't care too much for that song. Check out what she does at the end of her performance:
