US X Factor Finale: Celebrity Performances Video Clips

Thursday night's US X Factor Finale Show had plenty of huge celebrity performances. Legendary Stevie Wonder, Justin Bieber, Pitbull, Leona Lewis, and 50 Cent entertained the television audience. While the other musicians performed live, Bieber taped his part in advance.

Check out these video clips below. If you missed last night's star studded show, you can see the replays right here. By the way, Melanie Amaro was the winner of the first US X Factor Season. The 19-year-old "star in the making" won the $5M recording contract.

Video: Is Ron Paul Telling The Truth About Newsletters?

Republican candidate, Ron Paul, claims that he had no knowledge of racist newsletters circulating 20 years ago with his signature. The first question I had was, "If it's your newsletter, with your signature, who wrote this hateful information with permission to use your signature?" Did Ron Paul do a "180 degree" turn on his views from 20-30-40 years ago?

Check out the short interview below. Ron Paul walks out after the reporter caused a little "heat" on the matter. I find it hard to believe that a man of his educational background and profession had no knowledge of these inflammatory newsletters. You must search online to find the source and some of the information contained in those publications.

US X Factor Crowns First Winner | Video

This was the first season of the US version of Simon Cowell's X Factor. Of course, one of his discoveries won the competition. The First winner is 19-year-old Melanie Amaro. She won the coveted $5M recording contract with Cowell's SyCo Record Label. Also, Amaro won a role in a TV commercial. Maybe it will run during the upcoming Super Bowl. I like her voice. It has been reported that Amaro's voice has been compared to Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. I wouldn't go that far, but she is a good singer.

Over time this artist will have her own songs and find her unique voice in the entertainment industry. I'm sure she will be a great success, especially since she is the first winner of the X Factor in the United States.

There will be a second season even though this show did not bring in the TV audience as Simon Cowell had predicted. But, he announced that the show will see significant changes next season. I'm sure a lot of folks are looking forward to the next season.

Watch Bill Clinton on the No-Spin Zone

While surfing the 'net I found a very interesting interview on Fox News' Bill O'Reilly Show with former President Bill Clinton. One thing for sure, Bill Clinton gets things done, and he was one of the best US Presidents of all time!

Check out this interview, where Bill Clinton was promoting his latest book Back to Work: Why We Need Smart Government for a Strong Economy, and hear what he says about the progress in Haiti, among other things. It's worth watching:

Nicki Minaj Bosses Up | Video

This is the year of Nicki Minaj! If you do not know who she is now, then you have been living under a rock. She is everywhere, receiving awards and up for at least her first Grammy Award. I found this first video on MTV's website where Nicki Minaj rants about how an assertive woman is perceived as a "B*tch." But, a confident man who asserts himself is considered "the Boss" or "Bossed Up." Tell it like it is Nicki!!! [LOL]
Nicki Minaj, Florence and the Machine and LMFAO will be in New York's Times Square on New Year's Eve. The acts are the latest additions to the star-studded lineup for the 40th annual "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve"
extravaganza. They join a lineup that already boasts Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga.~source

The X Factor: Rachel Crow Breaks Down | Video

On Thursday night there was a big surprise. Rachel Crow was eliminated! She did not get a chance to make it to the Semi-Finals. She was sent home! Nicole Scherzinger, one of the Judges, could have prevented this catastrophe by sending Marcus Canty home. Instead, Nicole allowed it to go into "Deadlock" leaving Rachel's fate up to viewer votes. Of course, Scherzinger, along with others, felt that Rachel Crow would remain in the competition. It was inconceivable that this 13-year-old super talent did not have the majority of viewer votes. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

Watch the 3rd video below if you want to see what happened. It was downright heart breaking! Young Rachel Crow displayed such maturity during the competition. However, after hearing the news that she would be going home, she just could not keep her composure. Then and only then did we all come back to reality that Rachel Crow is only a 13-year-old girl newly exposed to this type of competition. Her response will improve after having more exposure to high level competition in the future.

But... not to worry about this soon-to-be-superstar. According to TMZ, Disney is calling and anxious to meet with Rachel Crow before the end of the month. So, we will hear from Miss Crow in the very near future. Her talent and bubbly personality must be showcased and allowed to shine for all to see. We will all benefit from the entertainment value of "Little Miss Rachel Crow!"

Check out the video clips below of Marcus Canty and Rachel Crow's Survival Songs, the Elimination Video, and Rachel Crow Singing, for the first time in this competition, Etta James' "I'd Rather Go Blind:"

Video | Did Mitt Romney's $10K Bet Ruin His Presidential Chances?

I saw that awkward exchange last night during the GOP Iowa Debate. It was not pretty. Rick Perry just stood there for quite a few seconds without responding which left Mitt Romney repeating himself and burying himself alive on nationwide Live TV. Finally, Rick Perry said that he was not a betting man.

I think Romney was responding to Rick Perry's remarks on the cost and other problems stemming from Mitt Romney's Healthcare plan in Massachusetts while he was Governor. But, the uproar across the internet is in response to Mitt Romney's $10,000 bet! He really showed the American people that he is indeed not among the 99%. Of course, we all knew that. But, does he have to brag about it??? [LOL]

However, this was not a gaffe. You gotta' admire the man's honesty. How does a rich man sound making a "$10 bet?" It just doesn't happen. Face it... $10,000 or $10K to him is the equivalent of $10 to us. Remember he is among the 1%. All of the presidential candidates belong in that category. It just hurts the average American when we are reminded of this disparity. Now... why don't these "One Percenters" do something about the economy???

Lamar Odom Traded for Dwight Howard | Video

The latest news is that Lamar Odom asked to be traded to Dallas. He will be joining the Dallas Mavericks. Kobe Bryant made sure to voice his opinion. Kobe is NOT a Happy Camper. Lamar Odom still gets a good payday of $9 million. Of course, his "Kardashian" in-laws are worth much more than that little drop in the bucket. Kim's Wedding Ceremony cost more than that. And that marriage lasted only 72 days. Anyway... Lamar Odom is in great shape since he has a Rich Wife! Here's the video:

Watch Robyn on SNL | Video

Have you heard of the Swedish Diva, pop songstress, "Robyn?" I must admit, this is my first time hearing her voice and viewing one of her performances. Her real name is Robin Miriam Carlsson. This musician was born 32 years ago in Stockholm, Sweden. She is a singer, songwriter, and record producer. Robyn was on Saturday Night Live last night. This was broadcast from the Rockefeller Center in New York City and hosted by Katy Perry. Check out two of her popular songs, below:
